Honoring Arkansas's state fruit and vegetable at Pink Tomato Festival

    WARREN, Ark. (May 31, 2012) - It's one of the oldest continuous running festivals in the state of Arkansas. The 56th annual Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival begins tonight, May 31st with the first annual Grand Tomato Ball. Events continue through June 9th with the actual festival taking place the second weekend of June. 

    It's all in celebration of that symbol of Bradley County - the tomato.

    There's something for everyone at the festival from food, shopping, arts, crafts, contests, pageants, parade, carnival, games, live music and more.

    Popular events include the Pink Tomato Beauty Pageant, the All-Tomato Luncheon and Street Dance, Arts & Crafts show, Tomato Eating contest, 5K Race, and the Pink Tomato golf tournament.
