LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - We had a packed Thursday morning here at Today's THV. Here's a recap!
Our very own Tom Brannon kicked of the Summer Cereal Drive today, as he was live from the Golden Corral in North Little Rock. For more information on the drive, and when Tom will be heading to your community, visit our Cereal Drive section here at todaysthv.com.
This morning we had a great opportunity to speak with some great organizations that are doing amazing things in our community. One for instance, is the Ronald McDonald House. They're asking support for their 1 Campaign by adding one penny, one dime, quarter or dollar to donation boxes.
We also spoke with folks from Second Chance Ranch who told us all about this weekend's Bull Ride and how they're helping the community.
One of Arkansas' most delicious festivals is kicking off Thursday. It's the Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival, and you won't want to miss it.
Plus, check out the inspiring 75-year-old skydiver who is helping others get off the couch!
We also debunked six common beauty myths, as we asked the question, "Are these really bad for us?"
Friday on "THV This Morning," we'll celebrate National Doughnut Day of course, and we'll fill you in on why it got started and how the Salvation Army is involved. Plus, we'll tell you where you can find FREE doughnuts! We'll also have our Pinterest Pick of the Week with Alice 107.7's Heather Brown. We'll see you then!
