RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. (KFSM) - Our CBS affiliate KFSM reports that the man in questioning after authorities found a large amount of blood in his motel room has been released.
Police tell KFSM that 50-year-old Steve M. Cofer maintains that he cut his leg Thursday, wrapped it up, and went to bed without realizing how much blood he was losing.
"I'm a Texan and you don't go squealing down to the E.R. going 'oweeee, I hurt my leg,' so I just wrapped it up, went to bed," Cofer said. "[I] got up the next morning, I went 'oh, my God, I sliced it deep.'"
