LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Police are investigating the armed robbery of a Little Rock gas station.
According to the police report, the Shell Station at S. University Ave. was robbed at gunpoint Monday. The suspect reportedly demanded money while holding a silver semi-automatic handgun. He then jumped over the counter, taking control of the cash register.
The suspect reportedly left the store with the cash register, and fled into a wooded area behind the store. The store clerk was not injured in the robbery, police say.
No arrests have been made at this time.
