LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The former president of a transportation company is sentenced to 24 months on embezzlement charges.

Officials say 44-year-old Leander J. Muncy of North Little Rock was sentenced today to 24 months in prison, three years of supervised release, restitution in the amount of $268,719.80, and a $100 assessment charge. He'll begin his sentence on July 16.

The sentencing follows Muncy's guilty plea back in February to one count of theft and embezzlement from an employee pension benefit plan at Vouk Transportation.
