BENTON, Ark. (KTHV) - Benton police support Fireflies for Morgan.
Saturday, June 9 marks the 17th anniversary of when Morgan Nick was allegedly abducted from a Little League baseball field while catching fireflies. The Morgan Nick Foundations is asking everyone to honor Morgan's memory by catching 17 fireflies and posting it to their Facebook page.
Benton police say this is a way to let the Nick family know how many people are thinking about her and sending positive thoughts of hope to bring Morgan home. If no fireflies are in your area, they're encouraging you to light a candle of hope for her.
