UNDATED (CNN) -- Paris Jackson opens up to Oprah, and Lauryn Hill is in trouble for tax evasion.
Michael Jackson's daughter says she was "really confused" when she was younger and her famous father made her wear a mask in public.
People.com reports that Paris told Oprah Winfrey she now understands that her father wanted his children to be able to go out in public without him and not be recognized.
Paris, who's now 14, says thanks to him, she and her brothers had a normal childhood, which included trips to Chuck E. Cheese and Toys 'R' Us. The interview airs Sunday on OWN.
The newest "American Idol" is recovering from surgery. TMZ reports Phillip Phillips has undergone a six-and-a-half hour operation to remove kidney stones.
His rep tells people.com the surgery went well and Phillips is resting. Phillips' dad says his son struggled with kidney stones throughout the last season of "Idol," and underwent eight operations during the run of the show.
Lauryn Hill is in hot water over taxes. The singer and actress has been charged with failing to file three years of income tax returns with the IRS.
The district attorney of New Jersey says Hill failed to file from 2005-2007, during which time she made more than $1.6 million. She faces up to three years in prison, and a $300,000 fine.
Hill is scheduled to appear in court on June 29th. Lauryn Hill has not responded to requests for comment on the tax charges.
