ROSE BUD, Ark. (AP) - The U.S. Geological Survey reports a small earthquake near Rose Bud in central Arkansas.
The survey reports a preliminary magnitude 2.2 magnitude quake was recorded at 12:15 p.m. Saturday about five miles northwest of the White County town - about 40 miles northeast of Little Rock.
Police in Rose Bud say there are no reports of damage or inuries.
Geologists say earthquakes of magnitude 2.5 to 3 are generally the smallest that are felt by humans.
