Dot-Com is the one everyone wants, but not everyone can get it. For a lot of money, you can buy your own domain, and do anything you want with it.

The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN) received almost 2,000 applications, calling it their biggest expansion. Many requests come from big names like Google, Amazon, and Apple. And a sign of the times - One request was even for Dot-LOL.

Users should start seeing new domains next spring.
