LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Authorities now say the Plaza Towers fire started in the victim's apartment.
The Little Rock Fire Department says the fire started in Vertis Brown, 72, apartment. She was hospitalized with burns and smoke inhalation and died Thursday.
The department says they will not know a cause of the fire until Monday.
The fire took place at Markham and University in Little Rock.
Approximately 200 people were evacuated from the apartment building at the time of the fire.
