Actor, playwright Laurence Luckinbill donate papers to Univ. of Arkansas

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - Arkansas native and University of Arkansas graduate Laurence Luckinbill is scheduled to donate his personal and professional papers to the university.

Luckinbill is to be on campus Monday to donate the papers to the University of Arkansas Libraries. The collection will be processed and eventually available to researchers in the special education department in Mullins Library on the UA campus.

Luckinbill was born in Fort Smith and graduated in 1955 from the department of drama in the J. William Fulbright College of Arts and Sciences.

He was nominated for a Tony award for The Shadow Box and has worked extensively as an actor, writer and director for both stage and screen.
