Red counties under burn ban, last updated 6/18/2012
LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Hot, dry conditions are bringing some serious attention to fires across Arkansas.
Right now, 25 counties here in the state are under a burn ban. Pulaski County is the latest addition, placed on the list Monday afternoon.
The ban means no open flame burning of any kind is allowed, even if you have a permit. Allen Lester with the Arkansas Forestry Commission says bans will not be lifted until a significant amount of rain falls.
