CLAY COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV/KAIT) -- KAIT reports that the Clay County sheriff confirms that a body found north of Knobel is that of a missing Texas father.

Sheriff McClung of Clay County tells KAIT that a wallet and credit cards matched 79-year-old Andrew Haukereid Jr.,, as well as the clothing.

The body has been sent to the medical examiner's office to confirm the cause of death.

Police say Haukereid had been missing since May 19.  He was traveling from San Antonio to Chicago, and Little Rock was one of his train stops along the way.

A Silver Alert had been issued in the latter part of May.
