LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Pulaski County Special School District's assistant superintendent has earned high honors for equity and pupil services.
Dr. Brenda Bowles was awarded the Southern Minority Leadership Award of Excellence at the 22nd Annual SMLC Conference on June 14.
Dr. Bowles was named one of four individuals across 13 states to receive the award. Officials say the purpose of the award is to recognize those who excel in educational leadership.
