HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (KTHV) -- Meteorologist Tom Brannon was live in Hot Springs Tuesday (6/26) morning collecting cereal for the Summer Cereal Drive.
For the last 12 years, 'Today's THV This Morning' and the Arkansas Foodbank, in partnership with local businesses, groups, schools and individuals have teamed up during the summer months by providing healthy breakfast options for children and families in central Arkansas who would otherwise go without the most important meal of the day - breakfast.
The Summer Cereal Drive provides hungry Arkansans with non-perishable breakfast items that are both nutritious and kid-friendly. This year, our focus is on providing a nutritious breakfast featuring quality breakfast cereals!
The residents of Hot Springs collected 3,887 boxes. Thank you, Hot Springs!
All the cereal collected will be donated to a local food pantry.
