LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Check out 4-year-old Jake. He recently went on his first fishing trip. He had a great time with Papaw and SuSu at Lake Willastein. Jake loved reelin' them in but we're not so sure he liked the bait.  If you look at the picture it seems he's not to crazy about the crickets.

And another great picture. Josh and his 7 pound 10 ounce bass he caught at Lake Overcup. Way to go Josh!!

A couple of weeks ago it was free fishing weekend, we'll Cindy and Kari took full advantage. They caught tons of catfish in two hours on Harris Brake Lake.

And 18-year-old Eli from Rogers and 12-year-old Clayton of Sparkman recently competed in the Cabela's Central Division B.A.S.S. Federation national tournament in Louisiana. Clayton tied for 3rd place in the 11 to14 year olds. And Eli placed 2nd in the 15 to 18 years olds. Congratulations!

And Bryce reeled in a nice 1 pound bream. He caught it in a pond in Conway.

And finally check out some of the trout being caught on the White River at Gaston's Resort. Beautiful trout including a monster weighing in at more than 16 pounds.
