LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A Burger King restaurant in Little Rock was robbed early Monday morning.

Police say an employee arrived to work an hour and a half early to turn the menus to the breakfast side in the drive thru of the Burger King on Dreher Lane. While doing so, she says a vehicle pulled up to the restaurant and two suspects got out and walked towards her. One suspect pointed a silver semi-auto type handgun and forced her into her car and the two suspects got inside.

Police say they drove to the front of the business and demanded the employee open the restaurant. When she said she couldn't, police say the suspects held the guns to her head, threatened her, and forced her to open the business. The employee told police the suspects had walkie-talkies they were using to communicate with an unknown third person.

When inside the business, the employee told police she opened the safe and the suspects took all the cash from five cash drawers. She told police she was made to lie face down on the floor and the fled.

The suspects are described as wearing all black clothing, wearing ski masks with holes for their eyes and mouth and both wore gloves.

This robbery is still under investigation.
