UNDATED (CNN/CCTV) - It's been a big week for Chinese explorers.
Last Sunday, Chinese astronauts, in a Chinese-made spacecraft, docked with an orbiting lab module known as Tiangong One.
It's the first manned docking after a successful automatic operation, and it's the latest big tech achievement ahead of this year's Chinese leadership succession. While its space capabilities were hitting new heights, China's latest manned submersible was plumbing new depths this weekend.
