LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - The La Quinta Inn on Fair Park in Little Rock was robbed at gunpoint overnight.
Police got a robbery call at the hotel around 11:30 p.m. Monday night. A security guard at the hotel says he saw two suspicious men outside the hotel and when he approached them, one of the suspects pulled a large caliber Beretta style silver pistol on him. The guard says the men took his radio and his hotel pass card and forced the guard into the hotel with a gun to his head.
Police say one of the suspects approached the counter, pointed a small caliber black gun and demanded money. During this, the other suspect hit the guard in the head with the gun. When the employee gave all of the money to the suspects, police say the men fled.
