JACKSONVILLE, Ark. (KTHV) - Police are investigating a bank robbery on J.P. Wright Loop Rd. in Jacksonville.
The robbery happened around 2:35 p.m. Wednesday at the First Arkansas Bank and Trust. The suspect reportedly handed a note to the teller, demanding money. He allegedly indicated that he was armed, but he did not display a weapon.
Police say the suspect left on foot with an undetermined amount of cash. The suspect is 6' to 6'2", and weighs 200 to 220 lbs. He was wearing a green ball cap, plaid shirt, plaid shorts, and black shoes.
