LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Arkansas has a professional dance company that's putting a new spin on performance.

The New Creation Dance Company is a non-profit with a purpose.

"There is only one other professional dance company in the state, Ballet Arkansas, and so we are complimentary with what they do, but with a different twist," says Executive Director Curtis Arnold. "What makes us really unique is that we're faith-based. That doesn't mean we perform only at churches, but we do have a positive message with our dance."

Artistic Director Greta Smith, who also performs with the company, says they like to think of themselves as Christians who just happen to dance.

"Our life is God and we love the Lord and it's just a way we can express that to him through the gifts that he's given us," says Smith.
