Building up at-risk kids with Youth Challenge

    LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - For nearly twenty years the Arkansas National Guard Youth Challenge program has been on a mission to build and inspire at-risk youth.

    This award-winning program has been recognized as one of the nation's most effective and cost efficient programs for targeting youth who are at the greatest risk for substance abuse, teen pregnancy, delinquency, and criminal activity.

    The program targets participants 16 to 18 years of age who are unemployed, drug-free and have no felony convictions.

    Youth Challenge is accepting applications for the July 16 2012 "Class 39" until Monday, July 2nd. To apply call 1-800-814-8453.
