NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (June 30, 2012) - Summertime in Argenta means great food, music, arts and crafts, and the Argenta Foodie Festival.
Join the Argenta Arts Foundation and the Argenta Farmers market at the Foodie Festival celebrating the plentiful growing season in Arkansas. Admission is free.
The festival takes place today, June 30, from 9:00 am - 1:00 pm, 600 Main Street, Argenta Arts District, downtown North Little Rock, next to the Argenta Farmers Market.
Participating restaurants include Argenta Market, Boulevard Bread Co., Ferneau, Hunka Pie, Starving Artist Café, Café 42, Mark Abernathy, Christina L, and Lulav. Live entertainment provided by Fire & Brimstone and Steve Bates.
The purpose of the Argenta Foodie Festival is to connect people to fresh, healthy, seasonal food and the farmers who grow it. Another reason is to promote our local restaurants, chefs and catering services that support local farmers and understand the importance of creating a sustainable local economy and a strong connection between farm and table.
