VAN BUREN, Ark. (AP) - Authorities in Franklin County say remains found in a burned vehicle are that of a missing Van Buren woman.

Deputies on Tuesday said the body found on June 23 was that of 36-year-old Jessie May Lovett.

The remains were found in a wooded area north of Interstate 40 in Franklin County, and the vehicle was found in flames.

The Southwest Times Record reports (http://is.gd/ZnaucI ) the death appears to have been accidental.

Officials say the car may have overheated and ignited the ground beneath it. An autopsy revealed Lovett died from smoke inhalation.
