LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Officials with UAMS and Arkansas Highway and Transportation Department say that crews will be dismantling the outfield fence at Ray Winder Field, requiring nighttime lane closures on I-630.
Officials say the removal of the fence will require the westbound outside lane to be closed nightly in the area between Cedar Street and Fair Park Blvd. beginning Monday, July 9 and continuing through Wednesday, July 11; lasting from 7:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. each night, weather permitting.
In addition, on Thursday, July 12 and Friday, July 13, closure of all three east and westbound lanes for 15-minute intervals will occur between 1:30 a.m. and 4:30 a.m.
Officials remind motorists to be cautious when approaching traveling through the area of I-630 near the ball field.
