SALINE COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - Deputies say one man is wounded, and another is facing an attempted murder charge in a Saline County shooting.
According to the Saline County Sheriff's Office, 27-year-old Jason Depriest allegedly shot his father, 52-year-old Ricky Depriest after having reportedly gotten into an argument on July 4. Deputies say Jason Depriest allegedly fired multiple shots at his father, striking him once.
Ricky Depriest, deputies say, was taken to a nearby hospital with a bullet wound to the back.
Deputies say Jason Depriest surrendered without incident. He is now facing an attempted first degree murder charge and was issued a $50,000 bond Friday.
