CONWAY, Ark. (KTHV) - Police in Conway are investigating an armed robbery at Corner Pantry on Donaghey Avenue.
According to police, the store clerk was about to close for the night when two man with t-shirts over their faces rushed in the store, pointing guns. Police say one of the men allegedly took an employee to the back of the store at gunpoint, taking money from a box and forcing the employee to get down on the floor.
Police say the other suspect pointed a gun at the clerk, demanding money from the register. When the suspects were in possession of the money, police say they left on foot, heading east near Trinity Apartments.
No one was injured, and no arrests have been made at this time.
Detectives with Conway police say they're looking into whether this robbery was committed by the same two suspects who robbed Gulf Gas Station on Dave Ward July 5.
