ATKINS, Ark. (AP) - Authorities say an Atkins woman has died after her car collided with a train in Pope County.
According to a report by the Arkansas State Police, 80-year-old Mildred Hill was driving a 1993 Honda Accord south on a street in Atkins when she drove onto railroad tracks just as an eastbound train was passing through.
The Arkansas accident happened about 3:50 p.m. Sunday.
Hill was transported to UAMS Medical Center in Little Rock, where she was pronounced dead Monday night.
