DENVER, Colo. (CNN) - Health officials in Colorado are warning patients of one dentist to be tested for HIV and Hepatitis.

They say he used dirty syringes on patients and it went on for more than a decade.

"It's devastating, I mean, it's devastating," says former patient Bonnie Wing.

Wing is one of Dr. Stephen Stein's thousands of former patients who may have unknowingly been infected with HIV, Hepatitis C, or Hepatitis B.

The State Department of Public Health and Safety says between the years of 1999 and 2011, Stein is accused of reusing syringes at his Highlands Ranch practice where he performed oral and facial surgery.
