LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Little Rock police are on the scene of a pharmacy robbery.
Police on scene tell us a white male in his 20s to 30s reportedly entered the Medic Pharmacy after 4:00 p.m. Friday on Colonel Glenn, saying that he had a weapon, but never displayed it.
Authorities say that when the suspect allegedly jumped the counter, the shopkeeper pulled a gun out and fired shots at the suspect. The suspect then reportedly fled the scene on foot toward Colonel Glenn.
The shopkeeper tells police that he believes he struck the suspect, but authorities say no blood was found on the premises.
Police say the suspect left with pills, but are unsure of the quantity or type.
According to authorities, the suspect was reportedly wearing a white shirt, dark jeans, and a white ball cap.
