HOT SPRINGS, Ark. (AP) - Miss Heart of the Ozarks has captured the Lifestyle and Fitness in Swimsuit Award in the final night of preliminary competition at the Miss Arkansas Pageant in Hot Springs.
Nineteen-year-old Sloane Roberts won an $800 scholarship Friday. The University of Arkansas student hails from Rison.
Also winning $800 scholarships were Miss Greater Jacksonville Maegan Inzer and Sarah Elise Gafvert, Miss Northwest Arkansas.
Inzer, a 23-year-old White Hall resident, won the Preliminary Artistic Expression of Talent award with her vocal rendition of "Out Here on My Own." Gafvert is a 21-year-old University Arkansas student from Wichita, Kan., who won the Preliminary Presence and Poise in Evening Gown award.
The winner of the Miss Arkansas Pageant will be chosen from the Top 10 semifinalists and crowned Saturday night at Summit Arena.
