LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Crews performing an inspection of plowable lane markers on Interstate 40 in the North Little Rock area will require moving lane closures this week, according to Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) officials.
The work is scheduled for the Morgan and Crystal Hill/Burns Park areas of Interstate 40 and will require one of the available travel lanes in each direction to be closed temporarily over a three-day period utilizing a moving lane closure.
The moving lane closures are scheduled as follows:
Morgan Area
Tuesday, July 17: Milemarker 138-147 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Westbound outside
12:00 noon - 3:00 p.m. Eastbound outside
Crystal Hill/Burns Park
Wednesday, July 18 Milemarker 147-150 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Eastbound outside
12:00 noon - 3:00 p.m. Westbound outside
Thursday, July 19 Milemarker 147-150 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 noon Eastbound, inside
12:00 noon - 3:00 p.m. Westbound, inside
Motorists are urged to move to the available lane(s) as early as possible and should exercise caution when approaching and traveling through all highway work zones.
