PERRY COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) - Authorities in Perry County are searching for a missing woman.
"Her pocketbook's here and all of her money and her teeth are here and she's just gone," said Tammy Young, daughter of Donna Young, 62, of Houston who investigators said vanished early Tuesday morning.
Authorities said Donna Young had an appointment at St. Vincent Monday for a medical procedure, but when a friend went to pick her up around 5:30 a.m. to take her, Young wasn't there.
"Her son-in-law left at five o'clock and another lady showed up at 5:22 to pick her up." said Sheriff Scott Montgomery of Perry County.
Sheriff Montgomery said there are no signs of struggle or foul play, and Young has no history of dementia.
The sheriff said a trace of Young's cell phone yielded no results.
"It shows to be hitting right here at this residence," said Sheriff Young.
He said they have yet to find the phone.
"She's got to have here medicine everyday. She can't be off of her medicine." said Young.
