LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - With so much attention surrounding the Colorado theater shooting tragedy, we wanted to know if patrols at local theaters would be stepped up.
THV's Lisa Hutson caught up with police who say they do plan to step up patrols in light of the tragedy. Also, the Pulaski County Sheriff's Department says a group of off duty officers who regularly patrol the Rave Theater had already planned on having more patrols this weekend.
Lt. Carl Minden says officers are stationed in and outside the theater, and anytime there is a blockbuster opening weekend like the Dark Knight Rises, crowd control is always a concern.
