LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Little Rock police are investigating the overnight shooting of two men at an apartment complex.
Police got the call about a shooting at 9700 W. Baseline Rd. Inside one of the apartments they found Edward Morten, 35, and Ken Cooney, 27, suffering from gunshot wounds.
A witness told police he was outside the apartment with Morten and Cooney when a car stopped and a man got out of the car. The witness says the man said, "This is what it is" and the fired several rounds from an assault rifle into the parking lot. The man fled the area in the vehicle.
Police do not have a suspect and are still investigating.
