ASSOCIATED PRESS--A man accused of strapping a fake bomb to a woman's ankle and then trying to forcing her to withdraw money from a bank is due in federal court this week.
Paul Bradley's state trial on kidnapping and robbery charges has been pushed back to this fall, but he has a scheduled hearing in Fayetteville Tuesday about federal firearms charges.
Bradley was charged with two counts of being a felon in possession of a firearm after authorities say they found weapons in his home in January. Investigators say he also took a shotgun from the home of the woman he allegedly tried to extort money from and followed to the bank.
Bradley has pleaded not guilty to both the state and federal charges.
