LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A man is shot and killed overnight in Little Rock just after midnight Monday.
Police got a call about a shooting on S. Heights Road. When police arrived they found the victim, Charles Gaskins, 50, lying on the front porch. Gaskins lived at the home.
Police say Gaskins had a gunshot wound to the right hand, center of the chest, and his face. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A witness at the scene told police she and Gaskins were sitting on the front porch when a suspect walked onto the porch, said something with profanity and showed a gun.
When a second suspect walked up to the porch, the witness says she tried to get into the house. She says one of the suspects tried to follow her into the house and the witness says as she tried to close the door, the suspect was pushing back.
Then, she says she heard two gunshot wounds and the suspect stopped pushing the door. She then shut and locked the door.
Two other witnesses inside the home told police they heard a commotion, then after the woman came inside, they heard two gunshots.
Two shell casings were found at the scene and have been collected as evidence. No suspects or motive have been determined.
