TAMPA, Fla. (CNN) -- Crews are hard at work in Tampa, Florida, getting ready for the upcoming Republican National Convention. Check out all the progress they've made, in pictures taken every 30 seconds.
This time-lapse video shows the preparations at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. Hundreds of workers a day have been transforming this sports arena since mid-July.
They're building a stage and podium, along with television anchor booths for media outlets.
And they have less than a month to finish it before Republicans from all over the country descend on the building.
The convention is scheduled to kick off Monday, August 27th.
It runs through Thursday, August 30th.
During the big event, it's expected Mitt Romney will be named the GOP's official nominee for the 2012 presidential election.
