LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- Officers say they have caught a suspect who allegedly robbed the Metropolitan Bank Wednesday by claiming he had a bomb and a gun.
According to the police report, the incident began when the suspect tried to cash a check on an account that was closed. He then demanded cash, claiming to be armed with a gun and a bomb. He never displayed a weapon.
The suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash. No one was injured.
The suspect is being taken to detention by Little Rock Police. Today's THV will bring you more details as they become available.
