WHITE COUNTY, Ark. (KTHV) -- Thursday around 6:30 am, White County Sheriff's deputies were called to a house fire on the 400 block of Clay Road in the Albion area.
The Albion and Letona fire departments were on the scene battling the structure fire when they located a body.
The residence was found to belong to Mae Robertson, 85. Detectives responded to the scene and began collecting evidence and information.
According to family, Robertson lived alone and the body discovered is believed to be her. The cause of death has not yet been released.
The investigation is ongoing, but preliminary findings indicate that the fire was started due to a lightning strike on the house.
The body was turned over the White County Coroner's Office.
