WEST SENECA, New York (CNN/YNN) -- It almost sounds like a soap opera. A couple gets married, divorced, marries other people, then falls in love with each other again. This is no TV drama, but real life for two 85-year-olds in Western New York.

Lena Henderson says, "This is something kind of unusual for both of us but I think we'll make out alright." It's not often residents at the Seneca Pointe apartment complex are preparing for their own wedding.

Saturday 85-year-old widow Lena Henderson will be married by her pastor in Buffalo. She says, "We're the oldest couple that he's married in our church. He said he gets very excited."

Roland Davis lost his own wife six months ago. With a push from his daughter, Davis called up Henderson and proposed. When asked if he was nervous, he said, "No, I'm too old to be nervous."

Maybe it was easier the second time around for the 85-year-old from Colorado Springs. Roland says, "We've always been in love."

He and Lena were married once as teens and had five children together. But they divorced 48 years ago. Lena says, "We were young when we married and I don't think he was really ready to be a married man."

The couple stayed in touch, even as they both remarried. Roland says, "When we divorced we were still friends and we're still friends. Aren't we? She never said a bad word to us about him. He never spoke anything but kind and loving remarks about her."

Of course some things will be different when they tie the knot this time around. Their children will be there, as well as grandchildren and great grandchildren. Their daughter Renita Shadwick says, "We will be celebrating this joyous occasion with five generations."

And this time they're getting married in a church. Lena says, "This is the last go around for us. We won't be able to do it again. So it's important for me to be in my church."
