LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - Craig's Twist 77. Nailing the landing.

It never gets old, does it? No matter the sport, no matter the athlete, seeing an American get the gold and hearing the Star Spangled Banner. ...It gets me everytime.

Even when the American Flag accidentally fell while being raised during the Serena Williams gold medal dedication, her triumphant smile kept the dignity of the moment.

But of all we've seen, the greatest moment for America over the last two weeks was this: When NASA landed the SUV on Mars.

Now, there are some people who can't even parallel park an SUV, much less land one on Mars. The moment was nostalgic.

It brought me back to the great space shots from the 60s and 70s, when scientists and engineers reacted the same way as they did this time.

It was adventurous, preposterous, and momentous. It was the kind of achievement that has defined our country. It was a diverse team coming together to explore.
