VILONIA, Ark. (KTHV) -- Crews contain a fire southwest of Vilonia, off of Saltillo Road.

According to Sheila Doughty with the Arkansas Forestry Commission, the fire spanned about 20 to 30 acres.  Some homes were threatened, but did not cause for evacuation.

Doughty says AFC had a dozer working the fire, along with crews from Faulkner County.  Single-engine air tankers were on scene as well.

We're told a man was working on a car when it caught on fire and spread to the field.
