SCOTT, Ark. (KTHV) -- A man is shot after three suspects entered his home.
Just after 11 p.m. Saturday night North Little Rock Police officers were dispatched to a home on Secretariat, located in the gated community of Ashley Downs, in regards to a robbery. En route officers learned that a subject had been shot and that the victim had been transported from the scene in a private vehicle to an area hospital.
Upon arrival officers determined that at least three males entered the residence through an unlocked front door. An individual at the house, Lagworian Leonard, 35, was able to run from the bedroom and out the door into the garage. One of the suspects fired shots at Leonard and chased him from the residence. The suspects then fled the scene.
Leonard was found by family members in the flower bed at the residence next door and he was suffering from at least one gunshot wound. Leonard was transported to a local hospital where he underwent surgery and was listed in critical condition.
Detectives were notified and responded to the scene. Today's THV will have more information as it becomes available.
