TULSA, Okla. (CNN/KOTV) -- An Oklahoma dog has a child, except it's not a puppy, it's a goat.

Julie Free is with Piper, a 2-and-a-half-year-old pitbull mix and her GP. Piper and GP are playmates, actually more than just playmates. See, here's the deal, Julie believes Piper thinks GP is hers and GP really looks at Piper as his momma. GP, you see, stands for goat puppy. When he was born he wasn't doing very well. Free says, "Piper started nuzzling on him and he actually kinda came around."

No wonder he thinks Piper's his momma. Wherever Piper goes, there's GP. Free says, "I don't know how much playing he's gonna do on his....."

A couple of weeks ago GP hurt his leg and with it all taped up he doesn't get around like he did, but they started bringing Piper to companion dog school and GP would come along. He learned some stuff, too. Free says, "He did this at a fund raiser for Chouteau Pound Pals in June."

The damaged back leg has really hurt his ability to run and play, but not his want to. When Piper gets too far away, he just doesn't like it.

GP has his own crate, but sometimes it's just good to lie down with your mom.
