NORTH LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) - A man was hit by a train in North Little Rock Wednesday morning.
Raquel Espinoza with Union Pacific says a man was walking between the tracks with his back to the train around 8:20 a.m. The crew saw him and sounded the whistle.
Espinoza says the man seemed to acknowledge the warning and moved, but didn't move far enough. The train hit his right side.
He was taken to UAMS and his injuries appear non-life threatening. His name is not being released.
