LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (KTHV) -- There are great things happening in our community right now.

Art Programming Grants: The Arkansas Arts Council, an agency of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, has awarded $1,178,773 to 93 Arkansas organizations. This investment in community arts and educational activities is funded by state funds and the National Endowment for the Arts. "Back to School Community Bash" - The Rose City Community Church of Christ in North Little Rock invites you to their "Back to School Community Bash" Saturday from 10 to 2 at the church on Lynch Drive. Students and their parents will be provided with food, entertainment, school supplies, free physicals, haircuts, immunizations and uniforms. Last year alone, they provided 500 bags of school supplies, 220 haircuts, and fed almost 600 people.
