FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. (AP) - The Arkansas Razorbacks are ranked No. 10 in the preseason Associated Press college football poll.
The ranking is the highest preseason ranking for the Razorbacks since 1980 - when Arkansas was No. 6 in the poll.
Arkansas finished last season 11-2 after beating Kansas State in the Cotton Bowl and ranked No. 5 in the final AP poll.
Arkansas opens the 2012 season at home on Sept. 1 against Jacksonville State.
