DALLAS (AP) - Authorities are searching for two men swept into creeks after thunderstorms in Dallas and Fort Worth dumped as much as 4 inches of rain.

Fort Worth Fire Department spokesman Richard Harrison tells The Associated Press they resumed searching Sunday for a man swept into a creek on the east side of the city Saturday night. A witness told them that the man had stepped into the creek to cool off.

Lt. Jerome Henry of Dallas-Fire Rescue tells The Dallas Morning News (http://tinyurl.com/95m6rco ) that the search resumed Sunday for a man swept away in Dallas' White Rock Creek. Witnesses say the man was fishing when he lost his footing.

The storms caused street flooding, stranded drivers and a partial cave-in of the roof of the Urban Inter Tribal Center of Texas.
