CROSSHAVEN, Ireland (CBS) -- Proud redheads from all over the country gathered in the seaside town of Crosshaven in County Cork for the annual Red Head Convention!
As they painted the village red with their tresses awards were presented for the redhead with the most freckles" and the best imitation redhead.
Alan Hayes from Dublin was among dozens of natural and not so natural red heads REDgistering for the 3rd annual Red Head Convention.
Celebrating all tresses is the brainchild of Joleen Cronin herself naturally a proud redhead!
There were awards for the best red beard and best red eyebrows to the longest red hair and to the curliest red head
